Wonderful Journey

Is "500 miles" a long distance? I had never thought of the question before I heard the song "500 Miles".

One day, when I wandered among different blogs on the Internet, I was caught by the song in the music box of Vincent's blog and the feeling of being homesick revealed by the song.

Actually, I had listened to it and had stored it in my computer formerly. However, I have lived a simple but happy life with my parents and have never been far away from my home. Naturally, I can't have a complete understanding of the homesickness expressed in the song

"I opened my wallet and found it empty; reached into my pocket and found few coins; searched my life and I found you. Then I realized how rich I am:)".

That is a piece of short message I received before. In fact, I can't remember ...

Every week, I and my students have a listening lesson. During the lesson, we listen to English songs. Today, we listen to an English song as usual. It is a song of Westlife called I have a dream.

It seems that the students are not interested in it. However, I like the song very much.I was struck by the song's name when I listen to it for the first time. Then, the lyrics moved me again.

Everybody has a dream. What you should do is to try your best to make it come true. Maybe you will meet difficulties, but the dream can give you bravery. As long as you perservere in your efforts, you will realize the dream. You are likely to burst into tears because of the difficulties. But on the other hand, the happiness in the process of making efforts will become your treasure in life. So"If you see the wonder of a fairy tale, you can take the future even if you fail." When you have a dream, you will cross the stream."

Although the students donot like the song very much, I still want to recommend the song to my friends. Everyone needs a dream in his life. The dream can support you to overcome the sorrow in life and make your life meaningful and enriched. So, remember your dream , and keep making efforts to realize it.
